The dress was great quality and the service was easy! I loved that they send safety pins and a stain wipe just in case. Also, I’m 5 11” and the dress length was perfect!

I had a mixed experience with AllBorrow. While the dress itself was perfect and the initial help was great, the post-rental service was severely lacking.

The Good
Gorgeous Dress: The dress was high-quality and worked out perfectly for my event, even though it arrived a day late.

Helpful Team (initially): When my original rental was unavailable, the team was very helpful and responsive in assisting me to quickly find this beautiful alternative.

The Bad: Post-Rental Issues
The customer service became chaotic immediately after the event:
Missing Return Label: The dress package did not include a pre-paid return label or postage.

Slow Follow-up: I waited 10 hours for a response regarding the missing label. Since the website requires a strict noon drop-off time, I had to use a friend's dress return information and paid for shipping myself to avoid a late fee.

Deposit Not Returned: Despite multiple follow-ups, I have never received the deposit credit for the dress.

Final Verdict
The service was great right up until the dress was back in their hands. When you combine the dress rental cost, the postage I paid, and the unreturned deposit, it would have been cheaper for me to purchase a new dress. I hope others have better luck.

I found very few reviews of All Borrow so wanted to share that this was a perfectly reliable and legit service. I received my rental neatly packed with a return label and on time. Now on to a few areas I feel more mixed -

1. I received a notification a few days before my rental was set to arrive that it was delayed, with an offer to select an alternative. On the plus side, I appreciated that they worked quickly with me to find an alternative, and that alternative shipped on time. On the minus side, this was a pretty pricey rental. I was willing to pay the price for a piece I was very excited about. They also didn't have my second, third, or fourth choices in inventory, so we went with something different. If I had known I would get my 5th choice I would not have been willing to pay the price I paid. There was also no offer of a discount or partial refund.

2. The actual item I was sent had a color that was significantly more dull and faded than the image on the website. That being said the quality of the item was nice and I did enjoy wearing it, but I wouldn't say the website photos were accurate.

All in all I'm glad I tried this service, but I'm on the fence on if I'd use it again vs. alternatives like borrowing from friends, given the cost vs. certainty of receiving an item as expected.

I absolutely loved this lehenga! It fit perfectly, was comfortable to wear all night, and photographed beautifully. I received so many compliments and truly felt amazing in it. The quality and detailing were even more stunning in person, and the rental process was seamless from start to finish. Thank you for such a wonderful experience — I’ll definitely be borrowing again!
Tip: I recommend wearing a strapless bra underneath, as the material is slightly sheer.
