This lehenga is absolutely beautiful. I wanted to wear a piece that still remained true to my personality and style, and this totally nailed it. Wore this to my friend's Sangeet and she could not stop raving over how much she loved it. She kept calling me her "Rave Princess," which I especially loved. Her family was so impressed as well, and they kept complimenting me all night long.
A few notes about the actual piece: 1) the skirt is pretty heavy - not unbearably heavy, but it does carry some weight, 2) the skirt is sufficiently lined on the inside (and it's soft!) so you don't have to worry about it scratching your skin, 3) if you're a 5'2" girly like me, it will be long - plan to wear heels (mine were 4 inches tall), 4) though the top is lined on the inside, your under and inner arms will rub up against the sequined material - I'm personally used to wearing material like this, so it doesn't bother me, but if you aren't then I would be cautious of when you plan to wear it and what you'll be doing (i.e. dancing), 5) the skirt is adjustable with a side string which made for a super comfortable and secure fit, 6) the top has a zipper to make it easier to put it on, 7) the top is slightly padded - which was nice because the back is a laced, exposed back, and 8) the dupatta is long and large, and so much prettier in person.
